🔒 Local by default

Code Sparrow is built to respect developer privacy. Code formatting, JSON/YAML parsing, Base64/JWT encoding, UUID generation, cryptographic hashing, and diff comparisons run on your device by default. JWT, password, cryptography, and file-checksum tools are local-only.

A configured Code API may be offered for a specifically supported operation. The interface identifies the destination and exact payload, requires a separate one-run checkbox, and consumes that consent after the run. Without this action, input is not uploaded. The API capability contract declares no request-body logging and no request-body retention.

🛡️ Input-body and telemetry policy

Code Sparrow does not build behavioral profiles or include payload content in application telemetry. In particular, it does not retain:

• Locally processed snippets, payload content, or decoded JWT claims.
• Cryptographic keys, secret passphrases, or generated hashes.
• Personal identities or behavioral profiling trackers.
• Request bodies sent to the opt-in Code API after consent.

The hosting layer may process ordinary connection metadata, such as an IP address and request time, for delivery and security. It must not log request bodies.

💾 Saved Preferences & Settings

Code Sparrow saves basic interface preferences, such as your accent color and light/dark mode choice, on this device. You can clear them at any time.
